Welcome to the “Who’s Who in the Zoo” construction podcast. My name is Rob Lord; a building design consultant. I fervently believe we design & build better when we have empathy with other stakeholders in the process - the architects, the engineers, the leasing agents etc. Each fortnight, you’ll hear fascinating interviews with people in different roles in the ecology of the construction industry. Rob is a building services engineer who has worked for over 30 years throughout USA, Australia & South East Asia (even Antarctica). He runs an engineering business called SEED Engineers and the firm is passionate about sustainability, indoor environments, and developing staff. In tackling the "hard" technical topics of ventilation engineering, controls & artificial intelligence, Rob has found that our best outcomes come often from allowing people and humanity a bigger spotlight in the design process. In this podcast series, Rob wants to "freestyle" through some structured conversations about the different roles in the construction industry.
